Multimodal Imaging of Cardiovascular Diseases, 1st ed. 2025 Case Jewels

Langue : Anglais
This book presents the findings obtained with combinations of CT, MRI, echocardiography, SPECT, and PET-CT in one hundred interesting cases of cardiovascular disease selected for their educational value and relevance to daily clinical practice. The images depict either typical appearances or unusual manifestations, and for each case information is also provided on history, imaging protocols, lab findings, and diagnosis/differential diagnosis. Key take-home points are highlighted, and at the end of each chapter an extended review is presented on the topic under consideration. Special comments are included on recent CT technologies offering radiation dose reduction and MRI techniques of T1 mapping with extracellular volume calculation and four-dimensional flow quantification. Many of the cases are drawn from the records of the Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, Korea, while others have been recruited from around the world.
