Dr. Georgios Tagarakis, MD, PhD, FECTS is an Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery in AHEPA Aristotle University Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his training in heart and lungs surgery in Germany and Greece and has performed over two thousand open and endovascular procedures of cardiothoracic surgery. he is certified by the European Board of Cardiothoracic surgery (FECTS) and the
American College of Surgeons and is also member of numerous scientific societies. Furthermore, he possesses a Master’s Degree in endovascular techniques and two PhD degrees. He has authored more than 80 publications in leading international peer-reviewed Journals and is a director of the ‘‘Health and Social Care Services Management’’ postgraduate program in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a member of numerous Scientific Societies and has been invited in more than 100 of the most important international and national meetings in Cardiothoracic Surgery.Dr. Ahmed Gheni Sarfan, MD, CCP, ECCP is the Chief of Perfusionist in Al-Nassiryah Heart centre and a visiting professor in Aarhus University, Scandinavian School of Cardiovascular Technology. He ran perfusion for more than 200 patients per year undergoing open heart surgeries, and worked as Perfusionist with the International Child Heart Foundation (ICHF) team those worked in Nasiriyah heart centre to make surgeries for paediatrics with cardiac congenital defects. He has published many papers in cardiac surgeries perfusion and participated in many conferences in Europe and Asia.
Dr. Hashim Talib Hashim, MBChB is a researcher and has more than 55 papers, many of them were published in international journals.
