Bruce J. West is a Visiting Professor at the Center for Studies of Nonlinear Science which he founded in 1994 at the University of North Texas, and at the Department of Research and Innovation at North Carolina State University. Fractal Calculus and Non-invasive Methods of Rehabilitation have been prominent themes in his recent research and publications.

W. Alan C. Mutch is a retired Professor from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada with a career as an academic neuroanesthesiologist. He is the original developer of fractal life support devices, such as the biologically variable ventilator and cardiopulmonary bypass pump, and has published extensively in this field.
