Claude Diebolt is CNRS Research Professor of Economics at the University of Strasbourg. He is the Founder and the Editor in Chief of the journal Cliometrica. He served as President of the French Economic Association, as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Cliometric Society, and is the Founding President of the French Cliometric Association. In 2019, Claude Diebolt received the George Sarton Medal for his research in Cliometrics.


Mike Haupert is Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He is the Executive Director of the Economic History Association, having previously served as the Executive Director of the Cliometric Society. He is also a member of the Association Française de Cliométrie. His interest in cliometrics began when he was a graduate student at Washington University in the 1980s, studying under Douglass North and John Nye.
