His research interests focus on novel nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications, MEMS devices, polymers, drug discovery, materials for 3D printing, and surface chemistry. He is currently a co-author of 170 peer-viewed journal articles and book chapters, 6 patents. He has an H-index of 34. He is an editorial board member of several chemistry, materials, and medical journals.
