Will Kinghorn is the automation and robotics specialist for the Made Smarter Adoption Programme, where he advises and supports manufacturing companies with the introduction of new technologies.

After graduating from Loughborough University with a master’s degree in Product Design and Manufacture, he worked in the aerospace industry for more than a decade. There, he developed and implemented new manufacturing techniques including automation, robotics, advanced machining, inspection, and welding in a range of production facilities. He is a chartered manufacturing engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
