New feature: the complete list of MAK- and BAT values now on a CD-ROM included in the book. MAK values (Maximum Concentrations at the Workplace) provide a basis for the judgement of the toxic potential of chemical compounds frequently encountered at workplaces. The list classifies about 900 chemical compounds. Carcinogens, embryotoxicants, sensitizing substances or germ cell mutagens are treated separately.
